DBox2 Sagem Kabel 1XI keine Netzwerkverbindung

Hallo

 

Habe für meinen Bruder eine Sagem DBox2 Kabel mit 1XI bei eBay gekauft wo bereits Linux vorinstalliert war.

Wollte direkt das Keywelt Image flashen aber leider bekomm ich keine Netzwerk verbindung.

Hab dann erstmal nicht lange rum gefackelt und komplett über Nullmodem Kabel geflasht.

Nun läuft das Keywelt Image aber ich bekomme immer noch keine Netzwerkverbindung.

Folgendes habe ich schon getestet.

 

Box <-> Switch <-> PC, IPs festgelegt, MediaSense aus, PC(WinXP) auf 10mbit Half Duplex mit Patch Kabel

Box <-> PC, IPs festgelegt, MediaSense aus, PC(WinXP) auf 10mbit Half Duplex mit Crossover Kabel

Dbox <-> Router <-> PC, DHCP ein an der Box mit Patch Kabel

 

Es ist immer jeweils eine Lampe an der Netzwerkbuchse an, also am PC oder halt am Switch bzw. am Router.

 

Über DHCP erhält die Box garkeine IP oder der gleichen und bei Netzwerktest kommt dann die Meldung das das Netzwerk nicht aktiv ist. Stelle ich die IP Fix ein, funktioniert nur der Ping test zur Box selbst aber kein Ping von PC zur Box. Egal wie ich anklemme und einstelle.

 

Habe früher bereits eine Nokia Dbox2 gemacht und nie solche Probelme gehabt.

 

Gibt es noch etwas was ich ausprobieren kann?

Hast ja schon einiges versucht. Obwohl die Link-LED anscheinend an ist, könnte es trotzdem der

Netzwerk-Chip/Phys, Prozessor oder eine kalte Lötstelle der DBox sein. eBay ist halt so ne Sache.

 

Mach mal ein komplettes serielles Bootlog und stell es in Spoiler-Tags hier rein, vlt. sieht man ja was.

Am Besten mit DHCP ein, die Anfrage an den Router sieht man nämlich im Log.

Die Box hängt zur zeit nicht am TV, nur am Router und am PC mit Nullmodem.

Wegen eBay ist nicht so schlimm, hab bei nem Händler gekauft der 6 Monate Gewähr gibt.

Das ist nicht das Problem, hab nur keine Lust auf wieder hin und her schicken

Dein "push" kannst Du bitte bleiben lassen. Wenn jemand was zu dem Problem sagen kann, wird er das auch so tun.

 

Meine Meinung:

Netzwerkchip der Box im Eimer. Per DHCP ist laut Log auch keine IP erteilt worden, da von außen keine Antwort zurück kam.

 

Box Switch PC, IPs festgelegt, MediaSense aus, PC(WinXP) auf 10mbit Half Duplex mit Patch Kabel

Über Switch oder Router: Stelle den PC fest auf 100 Half Duplex ein. Es gibt diverse Netzwerkkarten, die mit 10 Half nicht korrekt arbeiten, auch wenn es den Anschein hat. Vor allem 1 GB Karten gehören in diese Kategorie. Womit dann auch eine Direktverbindung mit Crossover nicht funktionieren wird.

 

Media Sensing kannst Du übrigens bei Verbindung über Switch oder Router außer Acht lassen. Das beeinflusst nur das Erkennungsverhalten zwischen PC und Switch/Router, aber nicht die Geräte, die "auf der anderen Seite" dran hängen, darum kümmert sich dann Switch/Router selbst.

 

Sollte sich bei Verbindung PC Switch Box mit fest vergebenen Adressen und Einstellung des PC auf 100 Half auch keine Verbindung erreichen lassen (was ich vermute): Reklamiere die Box, denn dann ist tatsächlich der Netzwerkchip der Box hinüber oder sogar die CPU beschädigt.

 

Der Tausch des Netzwerkchip kostet ca. 35 Euro, mehr ist die ganze Kabelbox nicht mehr wert. Zumal Sagem-Kabelboxen mittlerweile von keinem einzigen Provider mehr supported werden. Und ist die CPU angedeppert (die den kastrierten Netzwerkchip der Box bedienen muss), bekommst Du für die Reparaturkosten 2 bis 3 funktionstüchtige Kabelboxen.

Hau die Box dem Händler um die Ohren mit den Angaben, wie oben, was du schon getestet hast, plus...

PS: Hier im Board gibt es in letzter Zeit, wie ich finde, genügend Angebote, die auch preislich attraktiv sind.
