Box bleibt bei Boot Kernel stehen

Hallo,

jetzt habe ich aber wirklich Mist gebaut. Hatte ein Problem (steht im FullMenber Bereich) und habe an der start.neutrino und rcS rumgepfuscht.

Jetzt bleibt die Box bei „boot Kernel“ stehen.

Alles halb so schlimm dachte ich, es gibt ja das Emergency Tool nur, dass das Programm bei mir nicht funktioniert. Ich habe schon sämtliche USB Sticks probiert die ich gefunden habe, natürlich alle frisch mit FAT32 formatiert.

Das verwendete Programm heißt NXPHDloader mit den Dateien mtd1.img und mtd2.img

Das Programm sagt ständig, dass des die mtd1 oder mtd2 nicht lesen kann.

Jetzt musste ich nicht mehr weiter. Habe mich jetzt Stunden durch I-Net gesucht und bin dann auf folgende Anleitung gestoßen.

Könnte ich so das Keywelt Image neu aufspielen, oder mache dann nur noch mehr kaputt? :unsure:

Nun weis ich wie man an den Bootlog kommt. Außerdem habe ich herausgefunden, dass das Problem es an der datei "rcS" liegt.

So kann ich zuminstet über's Termial Programm auf eine Art shell zugreifen.

Ist es möglich über`s Terminal Programm und die „shell“ die Datei zu editieren? (oder zu ersetzen)

Ich hoffe ihr könnt mir helfen, denn als Briefbeschwerer ist mir die Box zu schade.

Was aber schade ist, dass das Emergency Tool der HD1 nicht funktioniert, was spätestens, wenn der Kernel nicht mehr will, zu großen Problem führt. Oder gibt es da ein anderes Programm?

Da hast Du vergessen die Rechte bei rcS zu setzen, wenn Du noch per FTP auf die Box kommst einfach die Rechte bei der neuen rcS auf 755 setzen und Box neu starten.

Es geht mit der HD1-Repairanleitung aber du musst das Image nehmen das dort dafür bereitgestellt wurde.

Sobald die Box wieder läuft kannst du dann sofort das KW-Image flashen, dazu musst du allerdings die Offline-Version nehmen und es via FTP nach \tmp schieben und die Update-Methode ebenfalls nach \tmp (ftp) ändern.

Wenn du noch auf die Box kommst dann kannst du versuchen die Rechte grade zu biegen wie @südschwede bereits geschrieben hat.

ich hatte am gestrigen Tag das gleiche Problem (KLICK MICH),

meine NEO V2 blieb auch bei BOOT KERNEL stehen.

So habe ich es gelöst (Anleitung aus einem anderen Board):

Flashen ohne Nullmodemkabel

Ich hatte nach der Rücksicherung eines wohl defekten Images das Problem, daß die NEO nicht mehr startete und mit dem Hinweis "BOOT KERNEL" im Display hing. Da ich am Sonntag kein passendes Nullmodemkabel zur Verfügung hatte, habe ich nach Alternativen gesucht und eine tolle Anleitung gefunden, die meine Cooli wieder zum Leben erweckte.

Ich habe dazu die Kernel.img und Image.img (umbenannt in system.img) aus dem EmuMod Image genommen.

- USB Stick formatieren (FAT32)

- Verzeichnis auf USB Stick anlegen mit dem Namen coolstream

- die Dateien (kernel.img und system.img) auf den USB Stick in das Verzeichnis coolstream kopieren

- die Box ist stromlos, also Netzschalter an der Rückseite auf AUS !

- USB Stick in den Front USB Anschluss der NEO stecken

- Netzschalter einschalten (kurz darauf erscheint im Display der Box coolstream)

- wenn coolstream im Display zu sehen ist ... SOFORT 2 mal schnell hintereinander die Powertaste der Box drücken (ist vorn links an der Box und leuchtet blau :-)

- es erscheint kurz u-boot im Display, dann coolstream und dann USB Update

- nun beginnt der Leseprozess vom USB Stick und es wird im Display kernel.img angezeigt

- nach dem Einlesen erfolgt Erase Flash, was wieder im Display angezeigt wird

- ist das erledigt, folgt Write Flash, was dann auch im Display steht

- als nächstes wird die Datei system.img eingelesen und es ist system.img im Display zu sehen

- nun folgt so wie beim Kernel Erase Flash und Write Flash, was ihr im Display lesen könnt

- übrigens kann man den Verlauf der Erase/Write Prozesse im kleinen Fortschrittfenster im Display verfolgen

- zum Abschluss erfolgt Reboot, was auch im Display angezeigt wird

- nun startet die NEO wieder ganz normal und es können die Einstellungen der Erstinstallation vorgenommen werden.

Ich habe mit dieser Methode auch einmal verschiedene Image Files via USB Update auf die NEO gebracht. Dabei habe ich dann die Dateien kernel.img und sytem.img vom USB Stick gelöscht. Das Imagefile, dass auf die Box soll, auf den USB Stick in den Ordner coolstream kopiert und den Dateinamen des Image Files geändert in system.img ( also z.B. cs197.img in system.img umbenannt) Nun wie oben beschrieben die USB Update Prozedur ausgeführt und durchlaufen lassen. Die Box startete auch dann wieder ganz normal, mit dem entsprechend installiertem Image. Auch das KW Image konnte ich so auf die NEO bringen.

Ausserdem hatte ich die beiden Notfalldateien aus dem NEO-Repair-Image by Gandal, das die Dateien mtd2.img und mtd3.img auch für die Wiederherstellung via USB getestet. Auch das hatte funktioniert, nachdem ich mtd2.img (Kernel) in kernel.img und mtd3.img (System) in system.img umbenannt hatte, auf den Stick kopiert hatte und via USB Update installiert hatte. Es ist also mit der NEO so einiges möglich, was die Wiederherstellung der Funktion der Box betrifft.

Ich habe es tatsächlich beim ersten Anlauf geschafft.

Vielleicht funktioniert sie ja auch bei Deiner Version.

Wenn Du wirklich nur die rcS in Windows-Format gewandelt oder ihr die Rechte genommen

hast, könntest Du das über Telnet noch geradebiegen indem Du folgende zwei Befehle eingibst:

dos2unix /etc/init.d/rcS
chmod 755 /etc/init.d/rcS

Dann noch mal neu starten.

Und beim nächsten Mal einen unixkompatiblen Editor verwenden.

Das traue ich mir im Moment noch nicht, da ich nicht 100% sicher bin, dass das mit der HD1 auch funktioniert, und ich nicht genau weis welche Dateien ich nehmen muss und woher ich die bekomme.

Das ist doch egal, dann nimm die Repair-Anleitung aus dem Link den du selbst gepostet hast und Alles wird gut sobald du das Repair-Image drauf hast kannst du das KW-Image drüber flashen, da gibts keine Probleme weil der Kernel sowieso komplett getauscht wird.

Ich mach meine NEO 2-3x pro Monat durch Tests platt und hab sie bisher immer wieder repariert bekommen also warum sollte das mit der HD1 nicht auch gehen, so groß sind die Unterschiede wieder auch nicht.

Entwerder hat meine BOX eine Make am USB Port, oder ich habe keine passenden Sticks, die Stiks habe ich schon auf Fehler gerüft. Die größe der Sticks war von 250mb bis 2000mb

Was kann ich jetz noch tun.

Das setzten der Rechte hat nichts gebracht. Ich habe noch probiert mittels VI die Änderungen an der "rcS" rückgängig zu machen, aber diesen Editor verstehe ich einfach nicht, aber wer weis ob das überhauptwas bringt.

Ich werde jetzt wieder die gute alte DBOX aufbauen, denn ich glaube die Cooli wird länger nicht gehen, oder uberhaupt nicht mehr.

Ich hoffe ihr verliert nicht gedult mit mir..... :bow: :bow: :bow:

Du musst einen Stick suchen der funktioniert, es liegt immer nur an den Sticks und auch wenn sie auf dem PC funktionieren oder keine Fehler gefunden werden kann es sein das sie in der Box nicht funktionieren, ich hab ca. 12 Sticks getestet bis ich dann 4 hatte die liefen.

Versuch mal vor dem Kommando "fatload usb 0 0x0E000000 mtd2.img" einfach mal den Stick auszulesen und wenn das geht dann erst weiter machen.

Manchmal hilft es den Stick wieder abzuziehen und nochmal zu stecken und "usb start" zu wiederholen.

Ich gaub es nicht, meine Cooli läuft wieder. :cool: :cool: Ab und an hatte ich schon Lust die Box aus dem Fenster zu schmeißen. :fpc:

Funktioniert hat dann ein Stick der Marke Captivia mit einer größe von 256mb.

Das ist der erste große minus Punkt den die BOX von mir bekommt, liest nur bestimme USB Sticks, und in Notfall kann man nur hoffen irgendwo einen passenden Stick aufzutreiben.

Hat diese Probleme nur die HD1?

Ich werde meine Erfahrungen mit den Sticks in einem neuen Beitrag zusammenfassen.

Falls jemand mal in die gleiche Lage kommt wie ich, dann ist dass wenigstens ein Anhaltspunkt welches Sticks funktionieren.

Diese hier haben bei mir funktioniert, getestet mit einer HD1;NEO V1 und V2; ZEE.

- MTec 4GB Stick

- ScanDisk 4GB Cruzer Blade

- DT Mini-Lite 4GB

- dann noch 2 NONAME...keine Ahnung von wem die sind.

Auf der ZEE wollte der - DT Mini-Lite 4GB nicht...alle anderen funktionierten.

Ob das nun allgemein Gültigkeit hat will ich mal bezweifeln aber zumindest ist es ein Anhaltspunkt mit welchen man es versuchen kann.

Hallo zusammen,

ich habe mit meiner Box (die wegen einem Defekt eingeschickt wurde) nun auch das Problem, dass ich das Keywelt-Image nicht mehr gestartet bekomme.

Das Original-Image 2.10 läuft wunderbar.

Ich habe das Keywelt-Image 1.50 und 1.60 versucht, bei beiden tritt folgendes auf:

Beim Booten bleibt die Box bei "Boot Kernel" stehen. Unten stehend der BootLog. Es ist eine Neo Kabel. Es kommen viele Fehler, kann aber nicht erkennen auf was das zurückzuführen ist.

Jemand eine Idee?

Ich bekomme die Box per USB-Stick so wie oben beschrieben wieder auf den Original Zustand zurück und mit dem Original-Image bootet sie auch wieder. Ich hab es versucht, das Keywelt Image als system.img auf dem Stick zu haben oder ich flashe es über Software Aktualisierung Manuell über tmp. Nichts tut.

Ich denke dass du einfach das falsche Image einspielst, welche Datei lädst du denn auf die Box und welchen Link benutzt du zum runteladen.

Beschreibe genauer was du wie machst.

Hi, vielen Dank für die Rückmeldung.

Das Image habe ich von hier: http://www.keywelt-board.com/index.php?/files/file/634-image-cs-keywelt-v160-marz/

Die rar Datei entpacke ich und erhalte: CS_201203101209_KEYWELT_V1.60_Mar.img.

Diese Datei packe ich per FTP in0:/tmp/.

Im Neutrino gehe ich auf Service--> Software-Aktualisierung

Dort unter Update-Einstellung "von lokalem Update-Verzeichnis", dieses steht auf /tmp

Dann klicke ich auf Lokales Update und dann suche ich dort das CS_201203101209_KEYWELT_V1.60_Mar.img.

Die Installation muss ich mit "Ja" bestätigen. Dann läuft die Aktualisierung.

Danach "Das Image wurde erfolgreich geflashed" und dann ein automatischer Reboot und dann "Boot Kernel" und das BootLog wie oben.

Ich dachte ich hätte das immer so gemacht?! Hab ich einen Denkfehler?!

Du musst für das 1.6er auch den Kernel (kernel.img) downgraden und nicht nur das systemfs (system.img),

wenn du per USB-Stick flashen willst. Der 1.6er Kernel ist zu finden im Download im

RootFS zum Image CS_KEYWELT_V1.60_März für USB-Stick CoolStream Images. tar.gz entpacken.

Im Verzeichnis /var/update als uImage ist der Kernel, diese Datei umbenennen in kernel.img und

zusammen mit system.img (1.6er) auf den USB-Stick kopieren (/coolstream).

Der Kernel des 1.6er-Image wird bei deiner Vorgehensweise über die Software-Aktualisierung wahrscheinlich

deshalb nicht geflasht, weil der 2.10er Kernel neuer ist.

Mh, ich dachte immer, dass beim Keywelt Image auch der Kernel mit geflasht wird. Aber klar, macht natürlich sinn, wenn der neuer ist!

Also mal wieder Danke an Euch!

Hab es exakt nach der Anleitung gemacht, falls es mal jemand nachmachen will:

Keywelt Image wie oben beschrieben runtergeladen und in system.img umbenannt. Kernel uImage in kernel.img umbenannt und dann mit dem USB Stick im Ordner coolstream geflasht.
