Damit kann die Dbox auch 2er Smartcards lesen.

Also im Multicam gehen so ziemlich alle Smartcards. Der erste Cardreader kann das nicht. Mit den neuen Emus vom Streamboard kannst du das multicam auch als Cardserver verwenden. Heißt du steckst deine PW karte in den 2. Kartenschacht hinter dem das Multicam eingebaut ist und kannst die Karte sharen.

Das Multicam geht aber nur mit einer geeigneten Linux Software.

Ist für eine Phillipsbox.

Ist der Umbau schwer ?

Lohnt sich der Umbau ?

für philips

 

der alte Kartenschacht, das ist der untere (schacht 1), der einzige der funktioniert übrigens bleibt natürlich erhalten.

 

Du ersetzt das Modem mit dem multicam, schließt das multicam an den oberen (bisher ungenutzten ) Schacht 2 an, und nutzt diesen mit einer beliebigen anderen Karte oder mit deiner originalkarte um diese mit Card Sharing zu teilen.

 

Der Umbau ist problemlos, doe Kosten liegen bei 35 Euro komplett.

 

Es wird erwartet damit unter anderem originalkarten zu blocken, das heißt Abschaltsignale abzufangen (Hoffnung !!)

Genau. 2er Schacht war für Geldkarte gedacht, Wird nicht benötigt da kommt das Multicam rein. Für den Platz den es braucht fliegt das interne Modem raus. Wer braucht das schon.

Genau genommen, brauchst du keinen Platz sondern den seriell port um die daten aufs board zu bringen, Platz ist genug in der Box, aber am modem port liegen 5V an und datenleitungen !!
