Wer seine Trinity beleidigt hat kann sie mit nachfolgender Prozedur wiederbeleben.

 

1.) Zip-Datei runter laden

2.) USB-Stick in FAT32 formatieren

3.) Zip-Datei in die Root des Stick entpacken, keine Unterverzeichnisse anlegen!

4.) Trinity ausschalten USB-Stick in den Front-USB stecken

5.) Trinity wieder einschalten und auf der Fernbedienung sofort einige Male die "Powertaste" drücken

 

Warten bis der Flashvorgang beendet ist und dann bootet die Trinity im Originalzustand.

Hi,

da es ja leider bei der Trinity ein kleines Versionswirrwarr gibt, gehe ich einfach mal davon aus, dass dieses ECF für die erste Trinity (Shiner, kam zeitgleich zur Tank heraus) ist, und deshalb nicht für die Trinity V2 (Kronos-Plattform, kam nach der Zee² heraus, von aussen erkennbar an dem V2 auf dem Aufkleber auf der Unterseite) und auch nicht für die recht neue Trinity-Duo (mit Doppeltuner und verwandt mit der Link) ?

Hier noch eine kleine Anleitung wie der USB-Stick eingerichtet werden sollte.

 

1. Image für die Trinity auf den Computer laden z.b. "rootfs-combined.arm.jffs2.nand.summarized.img"

 

2. USB Stick FAT32 formatieren und das Image umbenennen in "rootfs.arm.jffs2.nand"

 

3. Image nun in die Root des USB-Stick kopieren, keinen Ordner erstellen!

 

4. Trinity am Netzschalter ausschalten und USB-Stick einstecken

 

5. Trinity am Netzschalter einschalten und auf der Fernbedienung sofort mehrfach die Powertaste drücken

 

6. Das Image wird nun geflasht, auch der Kernel wird dabei erneuert.

 

7. Box bootet danach selbständig und fährt hoch

 

Imagedateien müssen natürlich zur Box passen, siehe Post von @DdD

Hallo zusammen,

ich versuche gerade meine Trinity Kabel (HD2) wiederzubeleben. Die hat mir das Jahr im Schrank wohl übel genommen. Die kommt beim Booten nicht mehr über den Splashscreen hinaus und die grüne LED vorn blinkte nur drei Mal kurz.

 

Allerdings kommt die Box auch nach dem ECF nicht mehr über den Splashscreen hinaus. Jetzt blinkt die LED allerdings auch nur noch zwei Mal kurz.

 

Habt Ihr eine Idee, woran das liegen könnte?

da wird wohl was kaputt sein... :P

Mach am besten mal ein serielles Bootlog, dann sieht man hoffentlich, was los ist...

edit: Trinity, hast du auch das richtige Image genommen? Es gibt ja zwei Versionen dieser Box, Shiner und Kronos.

Hi Don,

 

die HD2 ist die alte Version der Trinity. Ist das nicht die "Apollo"-Version? "Shiner" sagt mir grad gar nichts.

Hi,

Shiner (Trinity) und Apollo (Tank) ist quasi gleich, falls es keine Unterscheidung vom Image her gibt, ist es egal, aber eigentlich sollte es für jede der Beiden eigene Images geben.

Hallo,

 

sorry für die Frage hier. Aber ich blicke je mehr ich lese, immer weniger mit den Versionszusammenhängen durch.

 

Kann ich meine CST Coolstream ZEE 2 NeutrinoHD Twin Sat 2x DVB-S2 Full HDTV Receiver auch mit ECFTrinity213.zip retten?

 

Ich habe das zee2_YYYYMMDDHHMM_KEYWELT_V3.10_Mai.img geflasht. Danach ist sie gestartet und hat den 1 Tuner nicht richtig erkannt, die Satelitenliste war leer und das Netzwerk ging nicht.

Dann habe ich wieder die vorher gesicherte Original Software geflasht und jetzt bleibt sie beim booten hängen. Nur das Coolstreamlogo erscheint im TV und im Distplay steht "starte". Mehr passiert nicht mehr.

Nein. Das ECFTrinity213 ist nur für die Trinity V1 (Shiner)

 

Probier es so:

 

ZEE² am Netzschalter AUS

 

Einen in FAT32 formatierten USB Stick und ein ZEE² KW-Image in rootfs.arm.jffs2.nand umbenennen auf den USB Stick kopieren

USB Stick in den Front USB Anschluss stecken und den Netzschalter EIN den Power Knopf auf der Fernbedienung 3-4 mal drücken das Image wird eingelesen

Diese Info habe ich bisher nirgends gefunden. Der Stick wird auf Anhieb erkannt.

 

Es erscheinen folgende Meldungen:

 

USB Update... in

 

UPD: skip old r

UPD: load rootfs

UPD: erase nand

UPD: write rootf

Skip var

reboot

 

Jetzt startet der Receiver neu und bliebt bei "Starting..." hängen genau wie zuvor.

Ich habe es jetzt mit dem Stick es mit dem Keywelt Image und dem Original Image nochmal gemacht. Es kommen immer die gleichen Meldungen und bleibt jeweils bei Starting hängen.

pack mal noch den Kernel mit auf den Stick und nochmal von vorne.

Link gibts per PN, weil man hier so schlecht was anhängen kann...

edit: der Kernel ist vom aktuellen Image, also dem zee2_201605051241_KEYWELT_V3.10_Mai.rar !

Moin - auch ich versuche grade erfolglos auf meine Trinity V1 wieder ein funktionierendes Image zu bringen - leider startet nach dem Flashen die Box immer nur mit dem Boot-Screen. Nicht mehr.

 

Hat jemand noch die zip ECFTrinity213 von hier?

 

Gern auch per PM.

Moin,

hab gereade versucht eine Trinity V1 über den Emergency Complete Flash aufs Keywelt image zu bekommen - es wird auch kurz das KeyWelt logo angezeigt aber dann hängt die Box und nix tut sich mehr...

bevor ich die Box geflasht hatte habe ich mich per telnet eingelogged und geschaut um welche Platform es sich handelt:

nach dem booten komme ich auch per Telnet auf die Box - so ganz tot ist sie also nicht...
